The Girl Who Believed the World Was Hers

Before we taught us to be careful, we were brave without trying, without trying.

Spring did not arrive silently back then.
It arrived with scraped knees, grass stains, and the kind of excitement that made it impossible to sit still. I swear we could smell "green" in the air, the days longer, lighter, the whole world brighter.. And somehow, without anyone explaining it to us, we knew something good was coming.

As children, we didn’t wait for proof.

We believed in unicorns the way we believed in ourselves. Completely. Without irony, nor feeling even a teeny bit weird believing that if we had snuck up into that forest glade "just a few moments sooner" we would have seen a unicorn. 🦄

That belief lived inside us, our own bit of inner unicorn before the world had us second guessing our next move in life ..

Unicorns weren’t just story book tall tales, songs we heard on the radio, decorations or metaphors. They were symbols of everything we felt inside. Magic, courage, rarity, strength, wonder. They were wild and untamed, just like we were, mirrors of our own inner unicorn energy.

And rainbows.

Rainbows weren’t just colors in the sky. They were promises. They meant luck. They meant treasure. Good fortune. 🌈 They meant that if you followed the ribbons of colors far enough, something wonderful would be waiting for you. That belief in good luck felt natural then.

Saint Patrick’s Day felt like that too. Green everywhere. Four-leaf clovers. Lucky charms. Gold at the end of the rainbow. It wasn’t about superstition. It was about possibility. Promise. Hope. The idea that the world held surprises, and some of them were meant just for you, especially during the hopeful energy of March and Saint Patrick’s Day. 🍀

As little girls, we didn’t shrink our dreams.
We ran headfirst into them.

We were fearless not because we were protected, but because fear had not yet learned how wedge it's way into our thoughts, into our day..

Somewhere along the way, that changed.

Not all at once. Quietly. Gradually.

We learned to be sensible. To be realistic. To wait. To prepare. Someone said that hope was silly. To stop dreaming, get your head out of the clouds. Slowly, the unicorn stepped back into the shadows.

That unicorn of ours disappeared because the world convinced us she was impractical. And with enough time that passes .. we forget how much we really NEED her in our life and how to re-discover our inner unicorn.

Winter has a way of doing that.❄️It teaches us to conserve, to brace, to pull inward, to survive. Many women carry that winter energy far longer than the season itself.

March is the month of green goodness. This season is the heart of March luck.

March breaks through frozen ground.🌿
March brings color back into the world.
March reminds us that life does not wait until conditions and timing of life is perfect.

And neither does the inner unicorn.

She wakes up when the light returns.
She wakes up when imagination stirs.
She wakes up when a woman remembers that she once moved through the world believing it was hers, glimpses of promises of beauty, on the cusp of reconnecting with her inner unicorn again.

Bringing her back to life, our steps filled with hope does not mean becoming childish. It means becoming awake again, to see the world in the light only March can offer. ✨

Where we were meant to create our own path, make brave choices, and move through the world trusting ourselves again.

Because somewhere along the way, many of us stopped putting ourselves on our own "to do" list. We take care of everyone else first. We show up. We handle it. We get things done. We keep things moving.

And maybe we don’t need to be at the very top of our "to do" list. Everyday life doesn’t always allow for that. But you and I? We do need to be on it. At least somewhere.

We were never meant to wait, to over think, ponder, hash and re hash ideas..

We were meant to trust the moment when something inside us stirs. Not when everything is figured out. Every fine detail covered. Not when the timing feels perfect.

But when our inner knowing whispers, now.

We’re meant to build a life that fits us. With room to breathe. With choices. With all the colors of the rainbow. With space for both responsibility and joy and even more joy! 💓

That’s the energy we carry forward from here as we enter March and all it's blessings.

Activate. Or Re-Activate Our Inner Unicorn 🦄

This is the moment where memory turns into movement.

Not hustle.
Not pressure.
Not a checklist you fail at by noon.

This is about waking her up on purpose.

Our inner unicorn does not need to be rebuilt. She is not broken. She simply goes quiet when she is ignored for too long. And like anything alive, but dormant and resting, she starts to stir again when we finally pay attention. When we slow down long enough to listen. When we let ourself feel, even in small ways.

Here is how we begin to activate her. Not all at once. But in small every day moments that coax your inner unicorn out of the shadowy glen into the sunshine four leaf clover filled field of March.. ☀️

🦄 1. Stop Hiding. Let Yourself Be Seen Again.

There was a time we didn’t question whether we were “too much” or “not enough.” We showed up as we were. Bright. Opinionated. Curious. Thoughtful. Colorful. We didn’t blend on purpose. We didn’t mute ourself to be acceptable.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to soften our edges. To follow scripts. To copy what looked safe. To mimic the crowd. Especially online.

But unicorns don’t blend. They never have.

Re-activating her begins with choosing visibility on your terms, not performance.

That can look like:

  • sharing our thoughts in our own words, not borrowed "safe" ones. Stop pussy footing around, speaking your ideas bolder.
  • letting our personality shine like the prismatic rainbow, sharp, bright instead of polishing it away to boring dullness. 💎
  • choosing colors, images, and language that feel like you, expressing inner truths
  • posting imperfectly rather than waiting to feel “ready” and re writing something four times.

This is not about attention.
It is about presence.

And the true you being raw, real, relatable.. that presence is magnetic and magic!

🦄 2. Stop Fixating on What You’re “Bad At.”

Unicorns were never designed to do everything.

They don’t fly like Pegasus.
They don’t swim like mermaids.
And they don’t apologize for staying in their lane.

Many women stall because they focus on what they think disqualifies them. Lack of .. Tech skills. Video confidence. Writing. Online sales. Social media. Being “too quiet” or “too much.”

That mindset keeps the unicorn asleep.

Re-activating her 🦄 means choosing to build from strength instead of deficiency.

Ask yourself:

  • What comes naturally to me, even if I downplay it?
  • What do people already come to me for?
  • What do I enjoy enough to keep showing up without forcing it?

Then choose income paths that match those strengths. Storytelling. Writing. Sharing resources. Curating ideas. Recording raw sassy video footage. Exploring digital marketing, ways to make money from home in ways that don’t require you to be anything that does not already align with who you are, what you love and why you love it.

You don’t need to do everything.
You only need to do what fits you.

🦄 3. Play Is Not a Luxury. It’s an Activation Tool.

If you feel stuck and feel you'd rather dust the baseboards or uninspired, it’s rarely because you need a better plan. (or another book, or another course.)

It’s because we need movement, to DO something without pressure.

Play is how the unicorn wakes up.

As children, play wasn’t a reward. It was instinct. We explored. 🌈 We imagined. We followed curiosity without asking if it was productive.

March luck and spring invites that back.

Play can look like:

To disconnect (put the phone down) to reconnect..
This is not avoidance.

It is fertile space. Giving space for possible.. probable.. thinking about maybe's, what if's and wonderment.. 🍀

Some of the clearest ideas about make money, income creativity, side gigs, and next steps arrive when our nervous system relaxes, in a moments pause in our busy life and imagination has room to bloom again.

🦄 4. Update the Dream. You’re Allowed To.

Many women are still chasing goals that were born of a different time, a different season of themselves.

Before burnout, frustration, fatigue.
Before sandwich generation and parental caregiving.
Before pivots and life challenges
Before life rearranged priorities.

Unicorns evolve. Life evolves. And you and I? We're are allowed to evolve too because the passing of time can change thing..

Re-activating our inner unicorn means giving yourself permission to ask new questions. 🦄✨

  • What kind of income supports my life now?
  • What does “success” look like in this season?
  • What am I no longer willing to sacrifice?

Making extra money from home should fit this version of you. Not a past version. What good fortune, lucky dreams, fresh hope does this March bring to you?

Updating the dream is not quitting.
It is choosing alignment and helps our inner unicorn take one more step into the spring sunshine.

🦄 5. Choose Authenticity Over Perfection.

Perfection keeps the unicorn caged, edgy and irritated.

It tells you to wait.
To rehearse.
To fix yourself before you’re allowed to move, to do, to act..

Authenticity unlocks momentum.

Re-activating her means allowing yourself to be real in small, consistent ways.

  • sharing your story without sanding it down
  • showing up before everything is polished and pretty
  • telling the truth about what you’re learning, what you're still discovering; not just what you’ve mastered
  • letting people see the human behind the ideas, behind the scenes

People do not connect to flawless Barbie doll perfection.
They connect to honest, our straight talking truths we only dare to whisper in our minds.

And truths.. spilling the beans.. letting the people around us see our broken moments, frustrations, scraped knees builds the trust that creates opportunity and amazing conversations.

Roxanne Quote: Take off the mask of perfection for a deeper connection.

🦄 6. Name Your Magic. Then Use It.

Every woman (yes, even YOU!) has a form of magic she dismisses because it feels “normal” to her.

Encouragement.
Insight.
Organization.
Creativity.
Explaining things simply.
Seeing patterns others miss.
Telling stories that matter.

That is not accidental.🍀

Re-activating our inner unicorn means naming that gift without shrinking it, shrinking from it, and then choosing to use it.

Not someday.
Not perfectly.
Now.

This is how extra income, creativity, and confidence begin to align. When what you offer is an extension of who you already are, not a performance you have to maintain. Our inner unicorn delights, a grin comes to your face that lights up our heart and the hearts around us.

Because really? When has your gut instinct been wrong? When we know, we know.. That's more than March luck, 🌈 more than chasing rainbows..

This Is How Our Unicorn Stays Awake

Not through motivation.
Through action.

Small. Brave. Step by step self-trusting actions, taken on our own terms.

Spring does not ask permission to arrive. 🌿
Neither do you when we decide to come back into ourself.

And once we do, luck no longer feels random.
It feels responsive as we have "activated it"

When Luck Stops Feeling Random

Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, many of us were taught something quietly damaging.

That good luck is random. 🍀
That some women have it and others don’t.
That if things haven’t worked out by now, they probably won’t.

We rarely question that belief. We absorb it. Then we repeat it to ourselves.

“I’m just not lucky.”
“Things like that don’t happen for me.”
“I missed my window.”

But luck has never actually worked that way.

As children, we didn’t wait to feel lucky before we acted. We acted as if the world was full of possibility. We chased the rainbow. We searched for the four-leaf clover. We believed treasure was out there, not because we had proof, but because believing felt natural. This is the mindset of a lucky woman, of activating ✨ luck affirmations, embracing our own inner unicorn!

Belief changed how we moved.
And movement invited good luck.
Not just in March and Saint Patrick's Day .. but all year long!

As adults, we often reverse the order. We wait to feel confident. We wait for certainty. We wait for a sign that it’s safe to step forward. We will sometimes wait for "another sign" just to be sure that the first sign was true.. 😉

And while we wait, opportunity passes quietly by. Another day, another month, another year.

This is where Saint Patrick’s Day symbolism 🍀 becomes more than decoration, or sipping green beer, especially for women craving renewal and Saint Patrick’s Day hopeful fresh starts of spring.

It was never really about lucky charms or four leaf clover superstition. It was about faith in motion. About choosing to believe before the outcome was guaranteed. About stepping forward even when the ground ahead wasn’t fully visible yet.

March carries that same message, the message of March luck.

March doesn’t wait for winter to fully retreat.
It pushes through anyway.
Like snowdrops through the snow.
It grows anyway. It happens anyways.
It risks the frost for the chance of light. ☀️

Luck, in this sense, is not something we are given.
It is something we activate through belief, intention, and even luck affirmations.

A woman who believes she is lucky moves differently. She notices ideas instead of dismissing them. She follows nudges instead of talking herself out of them. She allows opportunity to feel possible instead of unrealistic. She looks for good fortune, pot of gold ideas and asks more questions.

This is the lived experience of a lucky woman.

That belief creates momentum.
And momentum is where luck tends to show up.

This is especially true when it comes to make money and income opportunity.

Most of us are not asking for excess. We want enough. We are asking for room to bloom. Room to breathe. Room to choose. Room to stop feeling trapped by one narrow path.

Making extra money from home, earning income online often begins right here. Not with a master plan, but with a shift in identity, especially for women ready to make extra money from home in ways that feel aligned.

From “this probably won’t work for me”
to “I’m allowed to explore. I should explore.”

From “I’m not lucky”
to “I’m willing to ask questions.”

These are not reckless choices.
They are brave ones.

And bravery of taking one more step has always been the quiet companion of good luck. 🌈

Bringing the Magic Into Real Life

Here is where imagination meets decision.

Not a leap.
A step.

Our inner unicorn doesn’t ask us to blow up our life. She asks you to move differently inside it. To act from courage instead of habit. Small changes offer big insights. To choose ourselves often enough that momentum begins to build.

This is how our inner unicorn stays alive. 🦄
Not in fantasy, but in daily practice.

When women like you and I begin living this way, we don’t suddenly become fearless. We become deeply self-trusting. And that changes everything.

Especially when it comes to money.

For a long time, income has been tied to sacrifice. Sacrificing time, energy, creativity, peace. Blood, sweat and tears. Or worse, sacrificing who you are to fit into a system that never quite felt right.

But the world has changed and continues to change.

Today, making extra money from home can be a whole lot quieter. More flexible. More aligned. Many women now make money from home by sharing ideas, stories, resources, or already done for us products that already fit our life instead of demanding a new one or a whole new skill set to learn and master.

This is where digital marketing for beginners enters as an option, not an obligation. Digital marketing allows women to explore income opportunity without pressure.

Not hype.
Not pressure.
Not performance.

But choice.

Choice to explore income paths that honor our voice.
Choice to earn without begging, hounding or chasing.
Choice to make money at our own pace and on our own terms while creating income online that fits our life.

This is how luck becomes practical.
Not a charm. ✨
Not a quote.
But a pattern.

Belief leads to movement.
Movement creates opportunity.
Opportunity responds to readiness.

As Saint Patrick’s Day approaches, with its rainbows and reminders of possibility, let this be the season you stop telling yourself it’s too late.

It isn’t.

Bravery does not belong only to the young. It belongs to the willing. To the women who decide to put themselves back on their own to-do list.

Because the magic we were looking for was never outside us.

It lived in the girl who trusted herself. To know you are enough, you've always been more than enough.

It lives now in the woman who chooses again to bring her own luck to the table, let her inner unicorn shine. 🍀🦄

And step by step, on our own terms, we get to create what comes next.
