Iāve lost count of the times Iāve thought to myself: āThink, Roxanne!ā or āGet your butt in gear!ā But one morning, coffee in hand and brain in a fog, I asked myself a better question:
"Is my brain even in the right gear?"
Mindset is the motor that drives your day.
And when itās stuck in neutral.. or worse, reverse.. youāll find yourself stuck, spinning, and second-guessing everything. Your mindset determines how much energy you have, how you show up for your dreams, and whether or not you believe youāre capable.

Weāre often our own harshest critics. But thatās not helping you make money online, start the side hustle, or pursue the dream thatās been on your heart for years.
Flip the script. Say this with me:
- I can do this.
- I believe in myself.
- I havenāt figured it out yet.. but I will.
- This doesnāt define me.
- I donāt quit on me.
The more you say it, the more your mindset believes it.

Motivation isnāt a mood.. itās a muscle.
Years ago, I thought habits had to be monumental. Like waking up at 5AM, running 10K, and drinking kale smoothies before sunrise. But one of the most life-changing habits I ever started? Simply writing down one thing I was proud of at the end of each day.. even if it was āI didnāt yell when I spilled my tea.ā
Start small:
- Listen to a podcast while doing the dishes.
- Replace one āI canātā with āI havenāt yet.ā
- Follow uplifting creators.
- Journal one thing you did do today.

Avoidance is exhausting. And the longer you delay healing, the heavier it becomes.
If you need to:
- Scream into a pillow
- Call a friend
- Make the therapy appointment
- Journal it all out
Do it. Then? Move.
Healing isnāt linear. But forward is forward. Even when itās wobbly.
