1. I Started Being Kinder to Myself

No more beating myself up for slow growth or comparing myself to people 10 steps ahead. I stood in the mirror and said,
“Roxanne, I accept you—right here, right now.”

No more wish-I-woulda, no more shoulda, coulda .. Self-acceptance isn’t a cute idea.. it’s the foundation for everything. And the moment I let go of shame, blame and started treating myself like someone I loved? Everything shifted. This warmth flooded through me .. it was indescribable.

2. I Rewrote My Inner Narrative

The voice in my head used to say, “Who do you think you are?”

Now? It says, “Look how far you’ve come.”

Really pause a moment .. breath.. look back at "where you were" and where you are now.. I stopped fueling the inner critic. I shusshed the devil on my shoulder whispering nonsense in my ear. Began to listen to the right voices in my head. I journaled through the hard days. I started believing I was enough, I knew I was enough .. even if the numbers weren’t yet showing it.

If I had waited until I was “ready,” I’d still be waiting.

Instead, I jumped in. Messy. Awkward. Figuring it out along the way.

I stopped trying to master a new social media site. Stopped buying more books when I hadn't read the other ones I had on the shelf. Focus on mastering what I had on hand. No more prepping.. I learned to do by doing!!

Action is the antidote to fear.

5. I Let Go of Comparison

Comparison is a liar and the thief of daily joy!

I unplugged from the noise. I stopped tracking others’ wins and started tracking my own:

• One person read my post? ✅
• I made a $7 commission? ✅
• I wrote a blog I’m proud of? ✅

Those tiny wins added up. And they built trust—with myself.

6. I Detached From the Outcome

When I focused on helping, serving, not selling, the sales came naturally.

I started asking;
“How can I make someone’s day easier?”
"Who can I help today?"
"Where can I help?"

Not, “How do I hit a goal by Friday?”

And you know what? That shift from performance to purpose changed everything. I regained my purpose and passion and with that .. my impact became income!
